New Fat-Busting Science – Fact Or Fiction Part 4

You Can Change Your Metabolism

That's the good news. The bad news is you may be one of those people who have to excercise to do it. If you are a skinny person and can eat anything you want without gaining an ounce, you have been blessed with a fat-burning metabolism. Those who are pre-disposed to gaining weight (like me) have to exercise regularly in some way to keep the fat under control.

Check with your doctor before starting any kind of exercise program, walking works best for me, and it doesn't cost anything!

Tiger Won't Come Back

I am not talking about problems with his knee, we all know what he has done since coming back to the PGA Tour and no one expected any less of Tiger Woods. What we are referring to here is any future appearances at my home PGA event, the FBR Open, formerly, the Phoenix Open. Tiger's appearance in 1997 at the TPC Scottsdale was his last due to security issues. Some kid threw an orange at him while he was putting, a heckler in the gallery was found with a gun in his backpack.

This is the largest attended tournament on the PGA Tour and record crowds of 250,000 in one day are hard to control. The drunk tourists are here, the college kids and the golf groupies are everywhere and it's more like a circus than a golf tournament.

I was there that day, marveling like everyone else, at the phenom known as Tiger Woods. They thought maybe he was a flash in the pan but 12 years later we know he is for real. Tiger Woods, after only 12 years on the PGA Tour is already a golf legend.

Golf Dreams Can Come True

Crystal Symphony

On This Fabulous Golf Cruise To Asia

Crystal Cruises has just made one of my biggest golf fantasy's possible. How? By offering an exclusive, 11-day, Golf Themed cruise itinerary to Asia on one of the most luxurious cruise ships ever built – the Crystal Symphony, a 50,000 ton, 922 guest, six-star beauty. Golfers never had it so good!

Fantastic Asia courtesy of Crystal CruisesI love Asia but have not had the opportunity to travel there since the late sixties. I would dearly love to remedy that and have mounted a campaign to accompany this special journey into the heart of Asia, Hong Kong to Singapore, departing April 20, 2009. It promises to be the (golf) trip of a lifetime – and from my perspective, especially meaningful. I would marvel at all the changes and appreciate (as an avid golfer) how the orient has embraced the game of golf – but that's not the half of it! (more…)
