Buying ladies golf equipment

Women`s golf has always been popular, but is even more so right now, with great women pro players such as Paula Creamer and Natalie Gulbis leading the way.

Many women became interested in the sport of golf in the 1970s as Women`s Lib Movement was at its peak, in an effort to penetrate the all male golf clubs who refused to budge on their `no ladies` or restricted access for women policies. Nowadays, the same clubs have realised which side their bread is buttered, with women having plenty of disposable income available and ladies now have equal opportunities on the golf course. A Guy TaylorMade For Golf!

This dude can still play! He shows up on my doorstep after 20 years since I last saw him and what does he want to do, why, go play golf of course.

After holing out for a sweet 79 the Chuckster himself let me buy him a cold one (he won) and proceeded to catch me up on what he has been up to since becoming human. (watch for the full, exclusive story here only on the LowCarb Golfer)

After not making it in Hollywood with the film horror crowd, (he couldn't compete with the likes of Jason) and being told that his image "really wasn't a good fit" for the PGATour snobs, he decided to go it alone.

And it's good news, especially for golfers , Chucky has signed a multi-year agreement with the newly formed CNBC (Chucky News Broadcasting Corp,) to host his own news and sports program. He is a HUGE fan of golf, once scoring in the low 80's using only a hatchet!

Chucky will review golf equipment, do some interesting commercial endorsements and give us some news we wish we hadn't heard about. But, that's our Chucky!

And being the great guy he is he agreed to help me promote my Amazon Golf Store – Golf Smitten.

Not a brick and mortar golf store where overhead like rent and utilities can kill you. Not to mention inventory, employees, insurance and all the rest that will keep you awake at night in a cold sweat.

It's my very own golf store and it is powered by the folks at Amazon. They have this really cool software called Associate O Matic where you can build a store around your URL and it features Amazon's products. The customer gets a wide selection of specific products, in my case, golf equipment, golf clubs, golf apparel, golf balls and all kinds of great golf gear. The prices are competitive, the transaction is between Amazon and my customer and I get paid a nice commission on each sale. No rent, no inventory, no employees, no worries!

So to help me bring customers to my golf store I shamelessly promote myself using this blog as a platform. Hopefully what I write about here will be of some value to my readers and in exchange they might even visit my store, they don't even have to buy anything! But this blogger sure would be grateful if they did!

Just when golf courses thought they had a handle on slow play, along comes the UroClub, a rather stupid invention that gives golfers another excuse to hold up play while they strap on a towel, unscrew a cap and stand their looking like a dork. I think I have seen just about everything that calls itself a golf club but this takes the cake. A golf club you pee in? 

I was on the golf course the other day when one of our foursome mentioned this device. We had been having a couple of cold ones and there wasn't a tree in sight, if you know what I mean. So what did we do, you ask? We waited till we could take care of the problem. But we did wonder, would this golf "club" be considered a 15th club in your bag for tournament play? 

Later, I looked it up on the Internet and there it was, the UroClub, a great addition to the golf clubs in your bag and a golf club you can't do without according to their pitch. Just whip this thing out when you have to wiz, arrange the towel and away you go. Gives the word "shank" new meaning.

The company claims that it looks like a "regular" golf club and appears like you are just addressing your ball while you urinate into the shaft of this so-called golf club. Yeah, right! I have seen fat putter grips but fat golf shafts?

Any "golfer" who says this thing looks like a normal golf club ain't much of a golfer and I wouldn't want to be seen on the golf course with one. My buddies wouldn't be able to swing a golf club, they would be laughing too hard. 

The company's video demonstrates the product and you can see for yourself what a joke it is. I would only buy this thing as a gag gift for a golf buddy but after watching the video, their price of $49.95 is a bit much for a golf gag. Personally, I think this is one "golf club" you don't need and golf courses should ban it.

I did check out their website and they have reduced their price to $24.95, I guess sales of this so called golf club lookalike have been "soft".

I tried to buy one so that I could pull it out on the golf course next time I play as a stupid golf gag but their security certificate has expired which means your credit card payment is not secure. But for a good laugh here is their ridiculous video.
